About the Owner

My name is Dawn Burford, I opened the yard in 2002 after completing a business management degree at Worcester University. The yard has been my ongoing project for the last 12 years growing from 5 to 22 boxes and I'm proud to say that we still accommodate a number of our original livery customers.

My ongoing goal isn't to grow any larger but to continue to improve the facilities we offer and also my own personal knowledge having completed both my NVQ level 2 and 3 in horse care and coaching.

I have been an enthusiastic rider since the age of 6 and was lucky enough to be bought my first pony when I was 8. Since then I have undertaken all disciplines, pony club and riding club activities. However British Eventing and team chasing is my passion. When I have the opportunity I also enjoy bringing on youngsters.
